All Angels Church House overlooks peaceful Daniels Bay, Lunawanna, on South Bruny. Built in 1912, the original church boasts a delightful extension at the rear which sleeps five. Attractions include the original cathedral ceilings and a cosy log fire. Ideally suited to a romantic getaway, or for two couples travelling together.

The Church House is fully self-contained with a well equipped kitchenette giving the option of eating in with some of the superb local produce which Bruny Island has to offer, including local oysters, cheese, bread, fine chocolates and wines. The three bedroom cottage recently added to the church provides a comfortable getaway for couples or small groups of up to five people.

Rates: $215 per couple per night
Extra Guests: $25 per person, per night
Maximum 5 Guests.
 

Getting There

The Church House is located at 4561 Bruny Island main Road, Lunawanna which is on South Bruny Island, Tasmania (see map).

Check-in is via the Reception at Explorers Cottages, located only 500 metres along the road.

Bruny Island is accessed by a vehicular ferry which departs from Kettering (30 minutes south of Hobart). The scenic ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes. From there, follow the main road to the south of Bruny Island (a picturesque 45 minute drive) to the township of Lunawanna. Once at Lunawanna, you will see the signs to "Explorers' Cottages" located on Lighthouse Road, on route to the famous Bruny Island Lighthouse and South Bruny National Park.
