The Sand Piper is a huge Queen sized ensuite studio. Situated on Matthew Flinders Drive in Bruny Island's main township of Alonnah, this property is one of only two on the block in a light bush setting. Perched up on a small hill, the property takes in amazing views of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, Satellite Island, The Hartz Mountain Ranges and beyond. Across the quiet road, a short walking track takes you right to the water’s edge. The Sand Piper Studio is conveniently located within a two minute drive of the Bruny Island Hotel and Alonnah Services and is ideally positioned in the 'heart of Bruny Island' to take in the many sites and attractions that the Island has to offer.

Rates: $165 per night (2 people)
Maximum 2 Guests. Minimum 2 night stay.
 

Getting There

Bruny Island is accessed by a vehicular ferry which departs from Kettering (30 minutes south of Hobart). The scenic ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Reception is located on site at Bruny Island Explorers Cottages. Simply follow the main road to the township of Lunawanna. From there you will see the signs to Explorers Cottages. Once you have checked in, we will be able to direct you to the Sand Piper Studio.
