Bruny Island is abundant with wildlife and is a 'bird watchers' paradise. Relax in your cottage while Bennetts Wallabies, Spotted Quolls and even the odd Golden Brush Tail possum play outside your window. Or venture further a-field to see the Islands' famous White Wallabies, Fairy Penguins at dusk, or the many rare and endangered species of bird such as the Forty Spotted Pardalote.
More than half of Bruny Island is set aside as National Park and State Reserve, which include rainforests and plant species not found anywhere else in Tasmania.
INALA Nature tours run by Dr Tonia Cochrane specialise in designing and organising personalised wildlife tours
for groups such as birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Emphasis is placed on providing an ecologically friendly
and educational experience of a high standard, using specialist guides with a high level of knowledge who have the
ability to present the information in an interesting manner.
